Trailer
The official Azur Promilia YouTube channel’s announce trailer is the best look at the world, the Kibo and the combat:
Genre & gameplay
It blends an open-world action RPG with creature collection — often described as an “anime open world” with monster-taming. The 180+ Kibo aren’t just collectibles: they fight alongside you, gather resources such as ore, can be assigned to jobs, and some can be ridden as mounts. More on Kibo →
Platforms
Azur Promilia is planned for PC, Android, iOS, PlayStation 5.
Developer & publishers
Azur Promilia is developed by Shanghai Manjuu. Publishing is split by region:
- China: Manjuu
- Japan: Yostar
- Korea: Nexon
- Global & Taiwan: JIMI (Manjuu's Singapore subsidiary)
How does it compare to Genshin Impact and Palworld?
Like Genshin Impact, it’s a free-to-play open-world gacha with exploration and gacha-based character/creature acquisition. The creature-taming, mounts and resource-gathering creatures draw frequent comparisons to Palworld — but Azur Promilia is a gacha title from a studio (Manjuu) with years of live-service experience on Azur Lane, rather than a buy-once survival game.
When does it release?
No confirmed global date as of 2026-06-26; Korea is targeted for 2026. See the release date tracker for the full regional breakdown.
